Danny was so kind as to let me go to a quilt retreat for 3 days! I had so much fun! I actually got to sneak up to Haines Junction early on Thursday afternoon. Danny ended up taking the kids to Juneau to buy a new boat and the ferry left Thursday afternoon. There was also a storm headed our way and there was to be snow in Haines Junction on Friday... so 2 reasons I got there early. I got 3 tops done and several other small projects done. We did some snow dying... neat! I'll have to get some dye and fabric and give it a try... I was also greatly inspired for the rest of this winter! Here is a smattering of some of the projects completed that weekend...

Wow! Amazing projects! Glad you got a chance to relax and sew-- sounds awesome!
This is beautiful and inspiring, too! I do check ya, I've got you bookmarked. =) Hope your winter has been a warm and happy one. I think of you, and enjoyed your comments on Heidi's blog a while back. She hit the nail on the head with mama guilt, didn't she! Hope you are doing well, too. If you need some sunshine, COME AND SEE US! =) I know it's easier said than done, but you are always welcome. Thanks for sharing your projects! Maybe I'll do one, too. Someday. ;)
