Fall camping and such

We went camping in Canada one weekend in September... The second morning we woke to ice on the inside of the tent...about 24* F!! BURRR.. Took me and Aubrey a long while to warm up! It felt great to sit around the camp fire reading... not worrying about dishes, laundry and all that other stuff!

More of Carson's birthday. He enjoyed going to preschool on his birthday. His teacher made him a crown that he wore all day. They also got him a baloon and he was the special helper for the day!

We did a pinata... was fun, but glad for the strong older kids, who finally tore it open!

After many days of rain, we had a fabulous sunny day. The kids and I had a picnic lunch on the beach. The fall colors are breathtaking!

We found several jelly fish that had washed up on the beach after our most recent high wind storm. Aubrey isn't afraid of picking anything up!

Carson wanted to learn to sew and so Aubrey also wanted to learn... they made bags...very simpley. I don't think they will survive a washing! Love Aubrey's belly button!

The gals that went to the Haines Junction No Snow Quilt Retreat, where it snowed for 2 of the 4 days!
At Million Dollar Falls in Yukon..
Love the colors and the snow on the mountains!

Trying to warm up at camp..

Reading by the fire... and the kids "hunting"
We took the boat out on Pine Lake... It was really clear, so fun to see what was under the water..

Love the rocks and trees..

A really cool cabin that looks accessable only by boat or float plane... My brother would love this!
