Another

busy day. So busy I didn't get any pictures! I made pecan pralines and had to do two batches because I didn't boil the first one long enough...then the second one was almost too long. That is what I get trying to make candy with 2 kids and talking on the phone! =-) I did manage to get the toffee done correctly and the almond bark covered pretzels...well had to do those twice also...the almond bark burned the first time...Carson wasn't stirring it....(can I blame him?!?) but anyway we got them all done. Also got all sorted out to give to folks! Now to make Danny's belated birthday dinner... Chicken fried chicken, hashbrown cassarole and glazed carrots...his favorite Cracker Barrel dinner.. Hope it turnes out like theirs! Thankfully tomorrow is Saturday... and I can leave the kids with Danny....sorta! =-)
