cakes..and more

We've had a busy summer... trips and company...wow!

we had our own dolphin show while showing some Texans around the Lynn Canal...

And had picnics on the beach with the workers...

And a couple tours around Eldred Rock Lighthouse..

And made some cakes.. these were for a boy babyshower.. one was chocolate and one was lemon raspberry.

A birthday cake for several 65+.. thought an Alaska theme would work.. it is spice cake with butter cream frosting..

A practice one.. wanted to try the scroll work.. and candy clay for the rose..

For the AP&T awards dinner I made Lemon Blueberry covered with cocolate fondant.

This is what the side of their trucks look like..

For Father's day I tinted the coolwhip green with a tad of pepperment and layered with cocolate wafer cookies.. no baking required!

And when I am asked to make a salad.. I decorate that too!

Your kids are so grown-up looking! And I love the Alaska cake, too! I think even I could manage piping the stars on-- Cheyenne has looked over my shoulder and loves the cake, so maybe I could make it for my Alaskan baby's birthday! Glad to see pictures, enjoy the last days of summer!
