Cuz I gotta post something....

I don't think I posted on this... But it was a project from this last spring.. my first actual quilting class! Now to actually quilt it... but that is for this fall and winter.

We've had a great week of sun. Spent all week outside... hiking,picnicing on the beach and just soaking up the sun. Yesterday we went to the fair... it is pretty tiny, but the kids had fun. And I had fun watching the kids have fun! Hopefully I can post some pictures soon. It seems I'd rather spend my time looking at blogs than updating my own. I haven't really been into sewing either. But since there are birthdays looming I did get a couple things made today. It was a nice cozy rainy day. After a week of sun, a day of rain was welcomed. You see, when you live in a place that doesn't get much sun, you have to get out when the sun IS shining and take advantage of it. So the house is sadly lacking in the clean department...And the sewing and the laundry...

So I won't mind a day or two to catch up inside.. then the sun can shine again! =-)

Fall seems to be fast aproaching, some trees are already starting to turn colors! AGG.. I am not sure I am ready for the cold and dark, But I am ready to have my hubby home more. He's been busy with work, then busy fishing. I do love to have fish in the freezer or in the pantry, but I sure miss him giving the kids a bath, or even giving me time to take a walk.

In a month, Carson will start pre-school! And we'll be busy picking berries and preserving those. And hopefully we'll have more fish in there too. Danny needs his wisdom teeth out, so we will be in Juneau the end of August.... will be nice to shop and eat out a bit! August will be a busy month, so will go by quickly. Then it WILL be fall!!

The days are slow but the years fly by!
