old cakes

As I have been designing cakes as I fall asleep, I wanted to post some I made in the past, mostly for my memories. For awhile I though I had lost the pict of Carson's 2nd cake, and finally found it burried in my photo file...

Carson demolishing his first bday cake... a fire truck..

big and little fire trucks...

the second birthday cake was an airport cake with a runway with airplanes on it... sorry for the small pict..

and a pumpkin spice cake I like to make in the fall... I've made several of these...

These cakes are so cool! I am glad you posted some of the old ones. We really enjoy having fun with cakes. Ours are not professional, but we do try for a fun theme or something.

I love the pumpkin spice cake! Mind if I copy? Did you use a bundt pan? Or an actual pumpkin shaped pan? And is that cream cheese frosting? It looks really great! I once saw in a magazine a small pumpkin that had cookie cutter shapes of leaves and acorns cut out of it and a candle put in. I like doing that. Fall is my favorite decorating month! =) Spring and summer I'd rather be outside and winter has a lot of xmas associations I have to be careful of. But fall is awesome!
Nice job on the cakes, cuz!
