I have gotten so far behind....
But thanks to Nana, I am now all caught up.
And now I can blog...
We had an interesting convention... got sick...nearly the whole convention got sick. So got what I needed but didn't get the icing on the cake. Oh well. got what I needed.
Then the week after was dealing with Danny and Carson being sick...
Then we just got busy doing... I got way behind on laundry... (that is what Nana caught me up on... Thanks!!!!)
Nana and Uncle Twinkie came up for almost a week. And before that Danny was gone for a week.
So, this is all out of order, but this is what we have been up to lately....
Playing at the park...
Reading together...
Making cookies with Nana
Brushing the cat with Uncle Twinkie
Playing by the river
Showing Uncle Twinkie something...

Drove up the Kelsaw road, but couldn't go any further due to a landslide. So stopped in the middle of the road an cooked hot dogs... I'm watching out for bears... There weren't any... just a pile of bear poo every 20 ft or so!

Fishing with Uncle Twinkie at Mosquito Lake

At Chilkoot Lake...

Aubrey the cupcake head...

More with Uncle Twinkie

Going out to the golf course and catching polliwogs...
And baby Toads...

Playing in the pool with Ania and Arik

being cute...

Riding the train in Skagway..
In the boat on the way to Skagway...

falling off the chair..
Reading to Bow bear
Millions of polliwogs...

Mt. Ripinsky from the golf course

in the wild iris patch at the golf course..

In the sprinkler... kinda chilly...

White Pass and Yukon Route train ride...

The weather was horrible while Nana and Uncle Twinkie were here.. and now that they are gone it is beautiful again. Ugg.. Oh well, it was sure nice to see them!
This week is devoted to getting ready for the Haines Voluteer Fire Dpt BBQ..which means making 10 lbs of tatos into tato salad and cooking 10 lbs of baked beans...
Then we'll be free to enjoy summer again. Not too many plans...just fishing and processing caught fish... berry picking and processing picked berries... painting trim and doors that didn't get painted last summer.... not much to do... =-)

I LOVE the picture of the kids in the iris patch! Glad you got to have time with your brother, but we missed you at Wasilla too!
I'm trying to get caught up and organized on post-convention and house stuff too; but without a nana to help, and a nonstop-nursing-baby to boot! =) Someday I'll get to sewing and blogging more, but for now I'm checking up on what you've been up to. =)
You got some great photos of your Mom -- I especially like the one on the train. And that one of Todd and Carson fishing on the dock -- so so cute! :) Aubrey is getting to be such a doll... And, one more thing I like: there's actually photos of YOU on this post! Keep it up! :) (I could give you some pointers on the self-portrait look, if you so desire...) Oh, and I love that you just stopped in the middle of the road and had a picnic -- that's the way to do it! :)
