We had Aubrey's birthday party Saturday night with Fords.. .I love the look on her face...like this was exactly what she wanted... =-)
Bethany and Noah stand by to help blow out the candle....
The Aquarium cake... the fish were made out of candy melts... it was fun but time consuming!
The cookies and cream filling was the best part of the cake..
So, I think I will stay with tried and true cake recipes... the candy melts were fun, and I can just add them to my cake and frosting recipes...

I understand about the candy melts. I made cupcakes for Ryan's fifth birthday with airplane toppers. The body and the wings were make out of the candy melts...lots of work but oh so worth it!
