It's a cold rainy day today... Yesterday was nicer. We went up to the eagle preserve and took some fall photos... the colors are just starting to turn, so we'll have to go back when they are in full glory. I love fall..the colors, the smells, the picking and preserving. And I enjoy the first bit of winter... just wish it wouldn't last so long...guess I ought to quit complaining or move south! And I do like it here...most of the time!
I have made a ton of these panel skirts for me and others and finally got up the nerve to make one for Aubrey...without a pattern....just the idea.. It was super easy and I think I'll do more. It is hard to see in the photo...but there is a teal panel and a purple panel on either side of the butterflies.... they are all batiks...I love the batiks.
I have some holiday flannel for a skirt for me and I think there will be enough left to make a matching one for Aubrey.
Poor Carson...he asked " Can I have a skirt?!?" So I need to get a little boys shirt pattern and make him a shirt. I have some soft green plaid flannel just for that purpose. He does love green!

I like the skirt! I would totally be intimidated by the thought of making a little boy shirt, can't wait to see what you come up with! And great picture of you-- Carson's quite the photographer! :-) There's nothing my kids like better than getting hold of a camera.
