beach fun

We made it out in the boat today. Carson and Daddy went out and trolled for King Salmon for a couple hours and after Aubrey got up from her nap, she and I joined them for a run out to Battery Point for a short walk and snack. Poor kids, can't move much in their lifejackets...but better safe than sorry! It was about 45 and felt colder on the water. But so nice to get out and get a different perspective from the water.

On the beach at Battery Point...
We have also made it out to another beach a couple times. When the sun is out and the wind is calm...it is actually warm! Carson was taught how to throw rocks in by Owen and Shannon...

sharing a snack on a log..

Aubrey enjoyed the seaweed...yumm...not!

Loves to eat anything that won't eat her first...

I had to stop and take a picture of this junk heap of a house with a nice candy dish in the window....

enjoying more seaweed on a different day. It was windy and cold so we weren't out long.

We are looking forward to having Michelle for a couple nights before she and the other sisters head to Juneau for preps. Then Friday, Nana and Poppy and Great Grandpa are coming up for about 10 days.. We are all really excited about that!

Looks like you had a nice day! Good pictures! I guess Aubrey won't get sick eating seaweed ... since it is eaten by adults in other countries! Comforting to realize you/Aubrey weren't at Battery Point alone with the bears/moose! Can't wait to be up there!! Love, Nana
